A park on Appleton’s north side could reflect the interests of the man it’s named after.
Park Director Dean Gazza has been working with the family and co-workers of firefighter Mitchell Lundgaard to develop a park named for the fallen firefighter.
Gazza thinks the playground equipment will include a fire truck and hose or sprayer. He wants the public to weigh in on what they would like to see.
The public is welcome to email comments to the Appleton Parks and Recreation Department at aprd@appleton.org.
