It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! The temps are rising and the sun is shining… it’s time to try out these delicious spring cocktails.
Spring Fling Gin Cocktail
This drink looks (almost) too pretty to drink! Fill a glass with ice and add pomegranate juice and then grapefruit seltzer. Slowly pour 2 oz of gin on top. Add a lime wedge for garnish and enjoy.
Blackberry Champagne Mule
Mules are so refreshing and the flavor add-ins are endless. Create this Blackberry Champagne Mule by muddling blackberries, mint and lime juice and adding vodka. Pour into a glass with ice and top with ginger beer and champagne. Garnish with a mint leaf and enjoy.
Ginger Rogers Cocktail
A classic, elegant cocktail… named for a classic, elegant lady. Create a ginger syrup by combining sugar, water and fresh ginger in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes and then strain out the ginger pieces. Once the syrup has reached room temperature, add it to a cocktail shaker along with ice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and gin. Pour into a glass filled with ice and add soda water on top, stirring slowly. Garnish with rosemary.
Rhubarb Basil Cocktail
Create a rhubarb puree by chopping the rhubarb stalks and adding them along with sugar and water to a saucepan. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth. Use a strainer to remove the larger pieces.
Start your cocktail by placing chopped basil pieces into the bottom of a glass. Add the rhubarb puree and stir. Add ice cubes, vodka and club soda. Garnish with a basil leaf.
