So many dog owners don’t just talk TO their dogs they have actual conversations WITH their companions. Mostly because their dogs have no choice but to listen them prattle on about whatever stream of consciousness flows from their head without judgment or retort.
A South Korean company called Petpuls has developed a collar that translates your dog’s barks into emotions. They took 10,000 samples from 50 different breeds, used A.I. to analyze each bark in real time as to the state of the dog’s being. It doesn’t however put actual words to your dog’s barks… like Dug.
You pair the collar with an app and then, they say, it detects five emotions: Happy, Sad, Angry, Relaxed and Anxious.
How about hungry?? I’m certain you’d get a non-stop stream of “Feed Me Feed Me Feed Me!”
The collars range from $99 for smaller dogs to $108 for larger ones.
