AC/DC started a promotional campaign based around the slogan “PWR/UP”, which could be teasing the title of an upcoming song or album from the group. AC/DC placed a poster outside of Ashfield Boys High School, the academy where Angus Young dropped out of when he as 15. The poster says “Are you ready” along with “PWR/UP”.
On the web site for “PWR/UP”, there are links to the AC/DC store and a “Power Up” e-mail sign-up. The band member names are hidden on the website but the band is rumored to have sole remaining founding member Angus Young along with singer Brian Johnson, guitarist Stevie Young, bassist Cliff Williams, and drummer Phil Rudd. Two years ago, that same group was photographed outside Vancouver’s Warehouse Studios. Last year, Dee Snider reported that AC/DC was working on material written by co-founding guitarist Malcolm Young before his death in 2017.
