A ballsy Taiwanese tourist posted a vacation selfie that most people would think is nuts… because it is.
The woman, Waraschaya Akkarachaiyapas, was at a tourist spot, Tiger Kingdom Zoo in northern Thailand, when she got a bit more intimate of a wildlife encounter after cupping the tiger’s testicles and posting pics on social media.
The selfie, denounced by many online, has been called, humulatiing (for the tiger), rude (to the tiger) and dangerous (for the woman).
The head of the zoo keepers, Pirom Cahntama, said that their guests and the tigers are monitored carefully during close interactions where people take selfies to ensure that both are safe.
Cahntama; “We do not allow tourists to grab the tigers’ testicles but they are allowed to touch any part of the animal’s body as long as our specialists are present. From now on, we will make sure that no visitor will ever be able to touch this part of a tiger’s body again.”
