Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach is calling on the state and federal governments to help provide more personal protective equipment and coronavirus tests.
He says they’re ready to open a community test site, but they don’t have enough tests. Streckenbach says they also need to make sure they have enough equipment to protect emergency responders and health care workers.
Erik Pritzl of the county’s Health and Human Services Department says they’re trying to get as much protective equipment as they can. He says they want to be prepared for the projected peak in the coming weeks.
