A nonprofit that helps with local trail projects is now 25 years old.
Fox Cities Greenways Outgoing President Kim Biedermann hopes to continue the momentum, with collaborations like the boardwalk over the Fox River. Little Chute and Kaukauna are partnering on it.
Biedermann says they want to make sure communities keep working together on projects.
In the past year, the group expanded the Cycling Without Age program. Volunteers use a special bike to give seniors and people with mobility issues rides in the Fox Cities.
Fox Cities Greenways also finished its Safe Routes to Parks report, and created the Eight Great Hikes map.
