The Noon Lunch Whistle
|
 The Noon Lunch Whistle is an hour of your requests every weekday at (you guessed it) Noon, hosted by Elwood. You can make a request on the rock lines (see the numbers on the right side of the screen) or by clicking "Make a Request" (also on the right side of the screen).
On every Double Play Tuesday, you can request "Twisted Two-Fers" - two songs not by the same artist but instead about the same topic. For example, "Fire" by Jimi Hendrix and "Fire Woman" by The Cult would be a Fire Twisted Two-Fer.
Thursdays are "Theme Thursdays" where Elwood picks a topic for the hour and your requests have to fit that theme. Themes have included topics like "songs with colors," "animal songs," and "songs from the first album you ever purchased."
And of course, Friday the Lunch Whistle changes to the Liquid Lunch, complete with drink orders and the Wedding Song. You can check out more info on the Liquid Lunch by clicking here. |
